evsolarnc.com is a referral service. We connect North Carolina homeowners with licensed contractors for EV charger installation, solar panel installation, home battery storage, and electrical panel upgrades.
We are not a contractor. We do not perform work. When you submit a request, we match your project with a licensed NC contractor who covers your area and does this type of work regularly.
NC has a few specifics that matter. The state is split between two Duke Energy service territories, Duke Energy Progress and Duke Energy Carolinas, and each has its own rebate programs and interconnection processes. County permit requirements vary. Any 240V circuit work requires a licensed electrician under NC state law.
A national directory built for California doesn't know whether you're in Duke Energy Progress or Duke Energy Carolinas territory, or which county you're in. We do, and we pass that context to the installer before they call you.
You submit a quote request through the form on this site. We review it and pass it to a licensed contractor who covers your area and handles your type of project. The contractor contacts you to schedule an assessment.
We don't sell your information to a list. One request goes to one contractor at a time. If it's not the right fit, you're not obligated to proceed.
We don't perform any work. We don't guarantee that a contractor will contact you, that you will receive a quote, or that any quoted price will match estimates shown on this site. We don't employ or endorse any contractor. Any agreement you reach with a contractor is between you and them directly.

We include Duke Energy rebate guidance with every lead. NC has specific programs that most homeowners don't know about, including the Charger Prep Credit for EV charger installations and the PowerPair program for solar and battery storage.
